Each print is printed on buffered archival tissue paper (adhered to a carrier sheet) with archival inks (UltraChrome HD inks). This is standard printing process which prints all colors with the exception of white ink. Any pure white in your image will not print and will be devoid of color in those areas.

Archival inkjet tissue paper prints available in 2 sizes:
12 x 18 (printed on 13 x 19 paper) = $25 each
16 x 20 (printed on 17 x 22 paper) = $30 each
Both of these sizes represent the total possible print area. You are welcome to ‘lay-up’ as many photos/colors/sizes that will fit the size that you are purchasing.

Details
Format
Files can be JPEG, TIFF and PSD formats. The color space should be Adobe 1998 (RGB).
Size + Resolution
Images should be sized properly before sending us the files. We recommend an image resolution at least 150 pixels per inch. Files with very low resolution may result in less-than-ideal print quality.
Saturation
Because there are no photo coatings in tissue paper, highly saturated images will cause the paper to swell and if there is too much ink being laid down the print heads may come in contact with the tissue paper as it swells and leave small black marks. Note that some buckling may also occur because of this swelling. This is the nature of printing on tissue paper and there is nothing that can be done to correct this.
Color Output
As noted above, there are no photo coatings on tissue paper, therefore, your colors may be different than what you see on your screen.
Crop + Corrections
Unless you specifically hire us to do this, we won’t be cropping or correcting your images; be sure your files are ready to print when you submit them. We will not be responsible if the files are not correct.
Photo Editing
We are happy to help you with your photo editing, including but not limited to isolating your images, color correcting, resizing, laying up multiple images on the paper size for you, cropping your images, or tiling an image into pieces for larger works. This service will be billed at $80 hour with a $20 minimum.
Copyright
We will not print any images that violate copyright law.

Invoice
Upon completion of your order, we will send you a PayPal invoice. Once the invoice has been paid we will ship your prints.
Shipping Options
Your prints will be shipped in cardboard tubes for protection. Once your order has shipped, you will be notified by email along with your tracking number. All shipping times are in addition to our print processing times.

Email your files to info@photoencaustic.com. If your files are too large for email, please use HighTail.com to send them.
No digital files of your images will be stored. Once your images have been printed they will be deleted. If we’ve worked on images for you on a fee for service basis, these images will be sent to you and you will have 7 days to download the images or they will be forever lost.
