Join me as I teach my process of working with photographs and encaustic. My short course will focus taking and manipulating photographs for photo encaustic. I’ll show you the tips and tricks and apps I use in my own work–with a special focus on using your iPhone or android.
For my longer course I’ll be sharing my creative process of choosing an image from a photo shoot, manipulating the image, printing, and embedding tissue paper as I create a painting. Watch as I demonstrate my process and approach to painting a 30×30 image with multiple tissue paper prints.
I’ll be sharing the best practices of working with photograph and encaustic. You’ll get a better understanding of what images work best for photo encaustic, as well as what printers, inks, and papers to choose.
